Since the beginning of the project, in 2007, an exclusive partnership has been established with the Institute for Neurosciences of Montpellier, with an INSERM team, to develop LED photomodulation research programs, based on 4 major axes : Pain, Regeneration, Inflammation and Healing.
Our R&D team ensures a total control of dose and wavelengths used in every treatment to stimulate the targeted biological mechanisms and provide effective and innovative stimulation protocols.

The multidisciplinary expertise of our R & D team has allowed to better understand the mechanisms of action of the technology and to validate the treatments’ efficiency at different scales, in vitro, in vivo and clinical.
In Vitro :
Investigations have shown that photomodulation has a positive impact on migration, proliferation and cell differentiation and plays an anti-inflammatory role.
In Vivo :
The investigations allow to validate, on an integrated model, the results obtained at the cellular scale. They correspond to a real transition before the application of the stimulation protocols at the Clinical level.
›An in vitro study has confirmed an action of the LEDs on the rate of neuritic growth of sensory neurons. Under axotomy conditions, the neuritic growth rate obtained after LED stimulation
has reached a threshold so high that it corresponds to the highest rate of neuritic
growth ever identified in any article. The results were published in the “Journal of Biophotonics” in 2014.
